- Two people were detained by the police on August 7, 2023, for cheating on exams at the Dunkwa Secondary Technical Center in the Central Region’s Upper Denkyira East Municipality.
- The two suspects, tutors at PEEBLE Calvary and Oxford Santech schools, respectively, Albert Adu-Gyan and Yaw Adadai, were apprehended when they tried to smuggle some completed exam questions into the examination room for candidates taking the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) at the center on Monday, August 7, 2023.
- Two mobile phones and answered questions on two different sheets were among the things taken from the two suspects, the Police said in a statement.
- We want to warn the public against engaging in examination fraud during the current BECE since the police will detain anyone caught engaging in such behavior, the police statement added.
