- In relation to the heist of the Ablekuma bullion van, four people of interest have so far been detained, including one of the suspects who was detained yesterday.
- The four are in police custody and helping with the investigation. The fourth suspect was arrested on saturday 15th July.
- General Corporal Callistus Amoah, a police officer, was slain on June 22 in Ablekuma Fanmilk during an attack on a bullion van, a horrifying daylight heist.
- Videos of the incident that were making the rounds on social media showed some bystanders helping the policeman who was killed after being pulled from the back of a pick-up vehicle. It is believed that the officer who died was shot multiple times
