- From September 26 to October 1, Ghana’s National Theatre will host the Ghana Theatre Festival, which will celebrate Ghanaian culture and legacy via alliances and connections.
- The festival will display the works of many Ghanaian performers and artists, giving them a stage on which to display their skills and advance their theatrical production abilities.
- In order to attract a loyal audience for National Theatre performances, the festival also provides a wide range of high-caliber works at reasonable prices.
- A school theater program, a fashion show, a movie screening, stand-up comedy, plays, and an art exhibition are among the events. In order to increase physical fitness and general wellbeing, “GHROBICS” is an aerobic workout done while performing traditional dances that have been incorporated with drumming and music.
- The festival’s final performance, Efu Pnk, will feature all three of the National Theatre’s resident ensembles. The Department of Fashion Design and Textiles, Ghana Academy of Films and Television Arts, EN Academy, Addis Dance, 2 Cute Entertainment, Robdy’s Production, and Visual Arts Students Empowerment Project are among the other organizations taking part.
