This involves the placement of soldiers in the Red Sea, which separates Yemen and Israel, on board military ships.
- In the meantime, the US stated on Wednesday that it had attacked a location in eastern Syria that it claimed was utilized by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran and its allies. The strikes, the second in recent weeks, were a reaction to attacks against US soldiers in Syria and Iraq, according to a Pentagon official.
